Google sitemaps recognized by Yahoo! and Microsoft November 21, 2006

It’s amazingly true that the three giants collaborated on the sitemaps.org project recognizing google sitemaps file standard.

Google sitemaps was opened to webmasters around june 2005, allowing sites owners to feed pages for inclusion in Google’s Web Index with the hope that Google Sitemaps will help in gathering pages faster than the traditional crawling alone. These feeds also let site owners indicate how often pages change or should be revisited.

Having proved of it’s usefulness for both webmasters and Google since the day of it’s introduction, Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft acknowlegde it and launched a joint website called sitemaps.org, that includes …

PR Dance All Over the Internet July 20, 2006

With the latest Google PR Update, i’ve seen several new websites who increased Their Page Ranks mostly from PR 0 to Pr 3, and some an amazing PR 6. wow that’s an incredible jump! I wonder what has inspired most webmasters to talk about the sandbox thingy if new sites can go as far as these in a short period of time. think think think… wonder… wonder… wonder… oh well.. let’s just say sandboxes are only for those who are waiting for their sites to be crawled by simply creating websites with no incoming links 😀

These new websites must have spent …

Isulong SEOPH Web Promotion

An Interesting Idea about the Isulong SEOPH Search Engine Optimization Contest is the huge pool of ideas created by participants, I have learned new technologies, tactics and even humourous content being used by several entries to promote their website.

Every participant have their own expertise, although they are all webmasters, they have different interests, through which you can notice when you visit their website. For example, you will notice that the creator of the Isulong SEOPH Internet Dictionary is a programmer, he used basically a simple close to web 2.0 type application to attack the link building arena.

Some uses Funny Comic …

What is Sandbox effect? you might ask - sandbox effect has been around for a couple of months, or a few years as i can understand being new to this technology. The sandbox effect has been referred to an idea that a newly created websites specifically domains that have been newly registered to have their ratings on hold or placed on a delaying queue until an the time is deemed appropriate before a ranking can be applied to that site or domain.

8 magical SEO Techniques comment or spam? March 29, 2006

I recently recieved a comment on my previous post in Kabarkada about the 110 million worth government portal, and had it moderated since I consider it to be spammy.

The interesting idea about the post was it being an article talking about the 8 magical SEO Techniques, so i decided posting quite a little comment regarding the action, and why i considered it as a spam.

First and foremost the article was posted as comment on an unrelated post, does it make any sense for me to allow an unrelated article as a comment?

The too obvious intent is to get a link …
